The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie Rennes (ENSCR) collaborates closely with our Faculty of Chemical Engineering. As an ENSCR student, you will be registered here to pursue your Double Degree (DD) journey.


Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Double Degree programme at UCT Prague, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Standing: You must have successfully completed 4 academic years (8 semesters), equivalent to 240 ECTS credits.
  • Selection Process: Candidates are first selected by ENSCR. Your home institution then submits the nomination to UCT Prague for final approval.
  • Duration: Students from ENSCR will spend 4 semesters at UCT Prague to complete the programme.
📝 Application Note: When applying, ensure you submit a special application explicitly indicating the Double Master Degree programme.

ENSCR students can enroll in the following Master’s sub-programmes taught in English:

Applied Chemistry Biotechnology Engineering and Technology Environmental Chemistry and Technology Chemistry of Materials

Academic Regulations & Degree

Both institutions mutually recognize courses, exam results, and grades. To be eligible for the degree, you must successfully complete all subjects in your UCT Prague study plan.

  • Transcript of Records: Once you complete all subjects, UCT Prague will send your official results directly to ENSCR.
  • Titles Awarded: Upon successful completion, you will receive two separate degrees:
    • UCT Prague: Master of Science (Ing. – Inženýr)
    • ENSCR: Diplôme d'ingénieur chimiste et grade de Master
⚠️ Important: If a student fails to complete the host institution's requirements, they will not receive the UCT Prague degree. In such cases, ENSCR will decide whether to award the home degree.
