The Department of International Relations will send all incoming students a detailed pre-arrival e-mail about their study stay 2–3 weeks before the Enrollment/Administrative Day.

⚠️ Mandatory Attendance: Enrollment Day

Please note that attendance at the Enrollment Day is mandatory and can be excused only in exceptional cases. Students arriving more than 14 days after the semester begins may not be registered for studies.

1. Confirmations & Acceptance

Confirmation of Acceptance: You are officially accepted for study exchange once you receive a signed Learning Agreement from the Department of International Relations. Please confirm your acceptance and read your acceptance e-mail carefully to ensure you meet all requirements and deadlines. A Letter of Acceptance can be sent to your home university’s International Office upon request. If you decide to withdraw, please inform incoming@vscht.cz as soon as possible.

Confirmation of Accommodation: If you applied for a UCT Prague dormitory, you will be notified 2–4 weeks before your arrival about your accommodation status.

🛑 Private Accommodation Warning: If you are looking for private accommodation, beware of scams and fake listings! Never pay in advance before seeing the flat and signing a contract. You can find useful advice on rental safety here.

2. Arrival Notice & Student Visa

Notice of Arrival

The Department of International Relations asks you to confirm the exact date of your arrival, especially if it is after the Enrollment Day of the respective semester.

⚠️ Note: We reserve the right not to register you for studies if you arrive more than 14 days after the official beginning of the semester.
