UCT Services & Facilities
At UCT Prague, we provide a range of high-quality services and facilities to support students, faculty, and staff. Beyond the classroom, our resources help everyone thrive academically and socially. Here’s a concise overview of what’s available:
The Central Laboratories, located in buildings A and B, host state-of-the-art instruments and research facilities, including:
🔹 Infra-Red (IR) & Raman Spectroscopy
🔹 Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS)
🔹 Transmission Electron Microscopy
These labs support student projects, research grants, industrial applications, and can also serve external clients such as other universities or companies. Staff members provide courses, workshops, and seminars covering both practical skills and spectra interpretation.

Located in Building B (use EMIL app to find them):

Copy Center

📚 UCT Prague Press
The UCT Prague Press publishes a wide range of scientific books, textbooks, and other publications in both Czech and English. You can browse their online catalogue or visit the physical bookshop located directly at the Czech National Library of Technology (NTK).

Room B2302, first floor via Zikova Street: quieter, cozy space for resting or studying. Vending machines available upstairs.

Club Carbon: A student café in the basement of Building B. It offers coffee, snacks, and social events like PubQuizzes, perfect for relaxing or celebrating after exams.
Two university canteens provide student discounts with your ISIC/university card:

- Blue Canteen (Technická menza): Jugoslávských partyzánů 3, Prague 6
🥪 Buffets in Buildings A & B serve sandwiches, panini, salads, pastries, drinks, and small school supplies.
