As your traineeship at UCT Prague comes to an end, follow these steps to ensure a smooth and organised departure. Planning ahead helps wrap up your stay efficiently and avoid complications.
Notify both your supervisor and the Department of International Relations (IR) of your planned departure date. This allows the IR team to prepare your documentation.

Inform the accommodation office or landlord at least one month in advance.
- Clean and organise your living space.
- Return all keys, access cards, and borrowed items.
- Settle all outstanding rent or bills.
- Check the process for the return of your security deposit.
💡 Tip: Take photos of your cleaned room as evidence. If extending your dormitory stay, discuss early with IR and the Residence Hall.
